Beautiful quiet, peaceful setting. Comfortable, big and extremely clean room. Fresh tea/coffee and biscuits on arrival along with more facilities in our room. Lovely breakfast. Great, friendly hosts who can't do enough for you and always have time to chat. I'd definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.

Highly recommended. Friendly welcome, exceptional quality throughout, perfect location for our requirements and the breakfast was spot on. The small stairs presented a challenge for my size 13 feet but that's part of the charm of the place.

Beautiful, incredibly preserved small market town. The weather didn't allow us to explore close surroundingds as we wished.
The town itself has got plenty of pubs, cafes, gift shops, art shops.
The people we met so friendly.
The cherry on the cake is a second hand book shop. The books there just incredible!

The parking was not good steep narrow road I think once inside the property there was 44 steps or stairs some very steep and narrow, wouldn’t recommend to guests with any type of mobility issues. Lounge furniture needs replacing very old and uncomfortable lounge smelt musty. One of the bedrooms very damp with mushroom type mould Growing on wall and carpet. Bathrooms very nice modern plenty of them. Everything you needed supplied in the kitchen. Beds very comfortable lovely bedding. Garden unkempt and garden furniture rusty.

A well maintained property, with delightful hosts. Breakfasts very good.
Lovely gardens and views of the countryside/hills. Room facilities good, comfy & cosy. I plan to stay here again when next visiting the area. I have no hesitation in recommending it to others.
Good base for lots of things. great walking area. I used it as a base for a golfing break as it's in the centre of a triangle of some great links golf courses incl St David's [Harlech], Aberdovey, and Porthmadog, And the spectacular Welshpool GC with amazing views over 5 counties! The wonderful village of Portmeirion [famous for it's use in the 60's TV series 'The Prisoner'] is not too far away either

Great walking - either flat to Barmouth, or up the mountain. A great selection of pubs, all serving good beer, and a decent curry house (the Lemon Grass - but cash only and BYOB). Has everything you need for a few days away.

Beautiful thriving little market town with lots of unique shops, as well as a few staples, and a big Spar. The restuarant that we went to (Y Sospan) was amazing. You don't need a car to get around town, and if you bring your bikes or walking gear, the estuary and mountains are yours for the views and swimming.

A lovely little town with many attractive shops and restaurants.
We visited the tapas bar more than once.
The food was delicious.
It is an ideal location for exploring the Snowdonia area and for going south to Mid-Wales.
The Felin Ship was an ideal place, in a quite location on the outskirts or Dolgellau, for myself and five friends to meet up, and to share an outdoor activity holiday. There is simply so much to do in the area. Hill walking, watersports, cycling etc. The property was very spacious, with plenty of room to park all six of our cars. We absolutely loved the beautiful gardens leading down to the river, and the hot tub. Had the weather been poor, I'm sure we would have made more use of the games room.
Found this place last minute on Booking.com after I felt the need for a break and to be close the sea.
A great find indeed !
My two children and I stayed in the "Stables" and it has everything you could possibly need for a holiday, full cooking facilities, fridge, freezer, large dining table, 3 bedrooms, including one with en suite. Lounge area. And absolutely wonderful views ! Only a 15 minute drive to the beach
We felt, safe, happy and cosy !
Can't wait to return!
Excellent cottage in the beautiful village of Dolgellau, the location is perfect, right in the centre of everything. Hosts Caroline and Kevin are extremely friendly and very accommodating. Rooms are very well decorated and spotlessly clean, all with ensuite. Breakfast is amazing, great selection of items from fresh fruit, jams and jellies, to a full english breakfast which is absolutely delicious. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again when in Wales.
Absolutely beautiful from the time you step through the door. Very welcoming reception area, the room had everything you could wish for and more besides. Very bespoke furniture mixed with modern day facilities. There was also guest information for use of the facilities, local walks, the local surroundings and history of the hotel. The shower, bathroom, the size of the room, the bed, .the list is endless. Would highly recommend.

Well done Nick 👍
Lovely continental breakfast laid out in the room, with mini fridge just outside (wine and beer glasses and bottle opener a nice touch!)
Fantastic room and view, and Serafina and Neal made me extremely welcome in their home.
A proper bath very welcome after long days on the hills! -the private bathroom just along the corridor
A wonderful base in Dolgellau -thank you
Lovely B&B Annexe on a hillside with great views over Dolgellau and Cadair Idris mountain. The roomy annexe had a large double bed, bunk beds,a seating area with lovely views, a Kitchenette with small fridge but no cooker, and a small ensuite shower room. Our hosts Norma and Robert were very friendly. The English breakfasts were superb.
Excellent hosts with a really interesting and characterful B&B full of items from their extensive travels. Great location in a quiet area but still very near the centre of Delgellau and all facilities. Lovely views of the surrounding area. Hosts were very accommodating to an early rise, and breakfast was excellent.
The location is right in the middle of Dolgellau, close to restaurants and pubs. The owners of the hotel were fantastic and couldn’t have been more hospitable. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the breakfasts were amazing. They set us up for the day.
Location was in the center of the little town. We had a beautiful room with an exquisite view (and a lovely bathroom) facing the town square. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were very courteous and helpful. We loved everything about this hotel.
Beautiful room, beautiful location - just a short walk from Dolgellau with stunning views of the mountains. A fold out kitchen/cupbaord area, very tidy and warm and the owner was very friendly and helpful when leaving (to pay for our dog).
On the off set the accommodation was set in a really nice area with lovely scenery. The staff seemed very pleasant (when you could get them) and helpful. The design of the place was nice, just run down in a lot of places.
Great views from the cottage. Lovely and warm. lots of different spaces to sit. Very beautiful area to visit. Good walking from the cottage so no need to drive. Close to Dolgellau for food shopping and cafes.
Our host was extremely efficient and helped us with all aspects of our visit in Dolgellau : shared survey maps of the area, indicated a beautiful viewpoint on the country and the sea. Breakfasts were spendid.
Well located to centre of Dolgellau (closer than looks on website). really lovely views of the surrounding area with nice facilities. breakfast was fab, and Chris was very accommodating
It was so peaceful, pub and food in walking distance incredible view of the estuary, birds singing. Warm Comfortable and great value for money. Wales at its best , great hosts too .
